Three, four or five Free Spin symbols give different allowances
The checked rules award seven Free Spins for three symbols, fourteen for four and twenty-one for five. The symbols need not form an ordinary payline. A Scatter-triggered feature uses the bet that activated it.
This differs from the Rage route described later. A recorded bonus needs its trigger identified before its stake can be interpreted. The free-spins category separates these in-game allowances from external casino promotions.
Vikings fight before the spin is paid
During Free Spins, a Viking that lands attempts to defeat the sea creature. A successful Viking becomes Wild before the spin’s wins are evaluated. That Wild remains sticky until the feature ends, so an early successful conversion can contribute to later spins as well.
A Viking that is already Berzerk always succeeds in that conversion under the rule. The distinction is therefore about whether the transformation is guaranteed, not a different ordinary payline system. Wild positions still need to form eligible combinations with the rest of the field.
The pre-feature enhancement is a separate selection
Before a normal Scatter-triggered feature, the game selects an enhancement: Ragnarök, one to three additional spins, a starting Wild, a starting Wild reel or an increased presence of both chest types. These alter the opening conditions without replacing the feature’s sticky-Wild rules.
The checked help explicitly says the extra selection does not occur for the Rage-triggered entry. Do not add a random enhancement to every meter completion merely because it appears in a clip of a different entry route.
A full Rage meter guarantees one character’s conversion
When a Viking’s Rage meter fills, it triggers Free Spins with that Viking Berzerk. During that feature, appearances of the relevant character always turn Wild after the fight sequence. The other Vikings do not automatically gain that guaranteed status.
The rules do not supply a universal number of ordinary spins needed to fill the meter. Progress depends on qualifying Viking wins and their combinations. Previous non-winning rounds do not create a countdown guaranteeing that the next spin completes the feature.
The Rage entry uses an average of the collected coin values
The feature’s coin value is the average of the values used while collecting its Rage points. This prevents the entire accumulated meter from simply inheriting a larger stake chosen immediately before completion.
For an illustrative equal split of Rage points collected at €0.02 and €0.10 coin values, the average is €0.06. With the checked 25-coin stake structure, that corresponds to €1.50 for the feature’s stake unit. The example assumes equal numbers of points, not merely an equal number of spins at each stake.
Treasure chests carry coin prizes and feature entries
The ordinary Treasure Chest appears on reel four. Its listed coin awards range from 50 to 1,000, and it can also grant a seven-, fourteen- or twenty-one-spin entry. The Golden Treasure Chest on reel five has coin awards from 250 to 10,000, plus feature entries, a 25% Rage boost for each Viking or Ragnarök.
At a €0.02 coin value, 1,000 coins is €20. Against a €0.50 ordinary total stake, that is 40×, not 1,000×. The session journal guide explains why recording coin value and total stake separately prevents large unit errors.
Chests behave differently inside Free Spins
Within the feature, chests can award coins, two to four additional spins or a Wild reel. If a chest lands over a sticky Wild, both remain active for that round under the checked rule. The chest does not simply erase the held Wild’s contribution.
The rules also say Free Spins cannot be retriggered through the ordinary trigger. That does not contradict chest-based extensions: a new Scatter-triggered batch and an award of extra spins from a chest are different events.
Ragnarök makes all four Vikings Berzerk
Ragnarök can come from the Golden Treasure Chest or the pre-feature selection. All four Viking characters then convert to Wild when they appear, instead of only one character receiving guaranteed success through its completed Rage meter.
The result can develop more held positions, but the feature still depends on the symbols that land and the eligible paylines. The maximum-win analysis explains why a favourable rule state is not a forecast of a particular final payout.
