Cloudforge puts expanding wilds and growing multipliers together

Relax Gaming announced Cloudforge on 8 October 2026. The official release describes wilds expanding upwards, increasing multipliers, Electric Reels and progressive multiplier development in free spins. Our source cutoff is 14 October 2026.

Expansion and multiplication answer different questions

An expanding wild changes which positions it can cover. A multiplier changes the value applied under the payout rules. Combining them creates a sequence that can be visually busy, so it helps to follow geometry and value separately.

First identify the affected reel positions. Then identify the qualifying combination. Only after that apply the multiplier in the order specified by the help screen. The mere presence of a larger wild does not tell you the final cash return.

An expansion can be described spatially before any payout is calculated: identify the original symbol position and the positions it occupies afterward. Only then ask which eligible combinations use those positions. This is particularly helpful in a vertical expansion, where a larger image may cover several cells while still belonging to one feature event. Keep any associated multiplier attached to its documented rule rather than interpreting the increased visual area as an increased cash value by itself.

A sequence to inspect rather than guess

When reviewing a demonstration, pause at three points: before expansion, after expansion and at settlement. Note which positions changed, which multiplier is shown and which wins received it.

If the display contains several multipliers, do not assume they multiply together. Depending on a game's rules, values can be added, applied separately or limited to selected wins. The launch summary alone should not be stretched into a complete arithmetic specification.

For illustration, applying 2× and 3× as a sum to a €1 subtotal produces €5; multiplying them produces €6. These are hypothetical alternatives, not a claim that Cloudforge uses either calculation.

The practical question is what carries forward between free spins and what resets when the feature ends. A growing value within a bonus should not be interpreted as account-level progress unless the game explicitly says so.
